Eritrea expands its economy

Jun 28 – (Reuters) Eritrea has been in two wars with its neighbour Ethiopia. First it was a war for independence which ended in the 1990’s.

Soon after, the two countries were in a border dispute which also resulted in conflict. Eritrea prides itself for being self-reliant but is now turning to investors to help expand its economy.

African Journal correspondant Linda Muriuki reports.
