Video: Zenawi’s Crimes in Ogaden, Somalia

Jun 18th, 2008

Aljazeera’s Special: Refugees in their own land - a look at a day with Ogaden’s suffering people.
LA times reported that civilians, accused by Woyane soldiers of supporting ONLF fighters, are gruesomely hanged from trees. Meanwhile, the Bush administration turns a blind eye to these documented atrocities, and tries to accuse others of human rights abuses.
Mohammed Nur, ARS leadership, explained how the US is using Ethiopian children to die in Somalia so that it doesn’t have to send its own troops. He went on to say that “war on terror” is being used to destabilize Somalia and the region.
ARS fighters attacked Woyane soldiers, killing 13; fighters were backed by heavy artillery. Also, fresh attacks on Woyane soldiers in Mogadishu leaves 42 dead. In addition, the ONLF killed or wounded 48, and captured more arms from the Woyanes.
HRW report clearly stipulated Woyane soldiers’ actions on Ogaden: slaughter, execution, rape, burning homes etc…
Woyane regime reshuffled officials accused of embezzlement and corruption in Oromo region, a ploy to deceive the residents of that region.
Finally, a UN official has confirmed that the situation in Somalia is much worse than the disaster in Darfur.
